Solid choice for our Durban business

The shift schedule for the shop floor went digital and the disputes stopped. Support responded to our setup questions within a day, with actual answers. It brought order without bringing bureaucracy.

Mixed feelings after 2 years

The core experience is great and the edges are rough. Reporting is lists and exports rather than real dashboards.

Leave balances everyone can see and nobody argues

The per employee pricing means our costs track our headcount exactly. Recruitment at a flat R1,850 a month worked out cheaper than one agency placement fee. Reports export cleanly when the auditors or the department ask questions. Start with core and leave, you will add more soon enough.

The per employee pricing means our costs track our headcount exactly. The announcements feature replaced the notice board nobody read.

It sits next to our Sage payroll and the two behave like one system. The announcements feature replaced the notice board nobody read. Exactly the right amount of system for a company our size.

HR admin for 8 staff without an HR department

We hired through the recruitment module and the pipeline view kept everyone honest. The 30 day trial with our real org chart is what convinced the exco. We added the performance module for R14 a head and reviews stopped slipping. It grew our HR maturity a level without a consultant in sight.

Mostly happy in Rustenburg, a few gripes

It does leave and records brilliantly and analytics barely. The mobile app needs a refresh, it logs people out at random. Employment equity reporting is not built in, we still do that in Excel.

Our accountant in Bloemfontein recommended it, good call

We rolled it out in March and by the next month the paper forms were gone. Leave rules handle our BCEA minimums fine once set up properly. Documents get signed digitally, contracts and policies included. Our HR admin finally feels like a solved problem.

Doing okay for our 80 person setup

Good value, as long as your needs match the modules. Integration with our payroll needed a consultant to wire up properly. Reporting is lists and exports rather than real dashboards.

Our Kimberley office gave up on it

The app issues went on for weeks and staff gave up on it. Two price increases in one year on a per employee model adds up fast. Every payroll question ended with us being pointed at a different Sage product.

Cons

Feature roadmap promises kept slipping. Costs crept up module by module
