Not what we hoped for our Gqeberha business

Month end got slower every quarter until we intervened at the database level. Simple changes need consultant hours, nothing is ever just a setting.

Runs our 350 user operation end to end

As a manufacturer, the bill of materials and WIP tracking fit us exactly. The modular licensing meant we bought what we needed and added later. Serious software that rewards a serious implementation.

Our accountant in Klerksdorp recommended it, good call

Fixed assets, job costing and CRM in the same database ended our spreadsheet farm. It absorbed a 40 percent growth year without breaking stride. Every module posts to one general ledger so the numbers always agree. It is the system our business grew up on and grew into.

Four stars with a good partner, three without

Happy with it overall, our partner relationship makes the difference. Documentation assumes your partner fills the gaps, and they charge to. Our auditors connect their tools directly and the audit got shorter.

Good decision for a 130 person company

The retail POS at the counter feeds the same ledger as everything else. Branch accounting keeps each depot honest while head office sees everything.

Two years in and we are still paying consultants for basics. We needed a DBA on retainer just to keep the system responsive.

We moved off Pastel Partner when we hit its limits and Evolution has carried us since. Every module posts to one general ledger so the numbers always agree. It runs the business so we can run the business.

We evaluated the international ERPs and the local pricing and support won. VAT and SARS alignment is native, not an afterthought like the imports. Serious software that rewards a serious implementation.

No complaints after 6 years

Our reseller in Ballito knows our setup personally, that relationship is gold. Serial number tracking sorted our warranty claims process completely. User security is granular down to the field level where we need it.

Does the job, upgrades are a project each time

A capable ERP that gives back exactly what you put into the implementation. You need a proper server and IT discipline, this is not plug and play.

Our reseller in Somerset West knows our setup personally, that relationship is gold. The SQL foundation means our BI tool reads live data straight from the source.

Happy with it overall, our partner relationship makes the difference. The screens work but graduates raised on cloud software find them foreign.
