Sage 300 People

Sage 300 People is the platform South African HR departments graduate to when a payroll only tool stops being enough. It brings human resources, payroll and employee self service into one system, with a workflow engine that routes leave, claims and personal detail changes through the right approvers instead of email chains. Managers see their teams, employees update their own details and download payslips and IRP5s, and HR stops being a photocopier.

For a South African employer the compliance depth matters. The system produces the reports that feed Employment Equity submissions and the Workplace Skills Plan, tracks skills and training for the SETAs, and handles multi country African payroll for groups that run staff across the border. Payroll stays fully SARS aligned with EMP201 and EMP501 output. Like the rest of the mid market Sage range it is sold through business partners on a quotation, sized by headcount and the modules a company switches on.
