Mixed feelings after 4 years

Solid records and leave, everything else is lighter. Performance tools are check ins, not a real review framework. Support answers on UK hours, so afternoon questions wait overnight.

Not what we hoped for our Sandton business

Once our policies got serious the product stayed simple. The band jump doubled our bill for the sake of two hires. Statutory SA leave categories had to be faked with custom types.

predictable cost, tidy records, calm office

It handles the basics well and the basics are most of it. The leave defaults arrive very British and need proper SA configuration on day one. Exporting for the accountant or a labour consultant takes one click.

Does what we bought it for and little beyond. Pound billing shifts with the exchange rate quarter to quarter. Leave balances calculate themselves and staff check the app instead of asking.

After 2 years the records are complete, current and findable in seconds. The flat tier absorbed our seasonal staff without a billing surprise. Small companies deserve HR software this straightforward.

We configured South African leave rules once and it has behaved ever since. The employee self service means staff update their own banking and addresses. Simple, predictable and quietly essential now.
