Overview

What is Skynamo?

Skynamo was born in Stellenbosch to solve a very South African problem: sales reps out on the road, visiting wholesalers, retailers and distributors, capturing orders on paper and losing time and accuracy on the way back to the office. The mobile app puts the full product catalogue, live pricing and each customer's history in the rep's hand, so orders are placed on the spot, GPS confirms the visit actually happened, and the order flows straight into the accounting or ERP system without rekeying.

For sales managers it turns an invisible field team into a measurable one: who visited which customer, how often, what they ordered and which accounts are slipping. It suits FMCG, manufacturing and distribution businesses with outside sales forces, the exact profile of much of the SA wholesale economy. Skynamo integrates with the accounting and ERP systems local businesses already run, and is priced per user on a quotation, reflecting its focus on teams rather than solo users.

Onboarding the team was quick

I am the managing director for a company in Paarl. Reps place orders on the customer's counter with live stock and pricing, no more paper and no more errors. We stay because switching is more effort than the niggles.
